In an effort to perpetuate and transmit artistic crafts, Vacheron Constantin participates in the exhibition together with an honorary guest from Japan. The house took its place next to perfumers, watchmakers, jewelers, kimono makers, and shoemakers in a pavilion dedicated to the world of luxury called “Details: The Genealogy of Ornament.”

A LONG-STANDING JAPANESE TRADITION
The relationship between Vacheron Constantin and Japan dates back to the 19th century. Some watches from the private collection of Vacheron Constantin are decorated with Japanese-style ornaments and ornaments, and some copies are on display at the Vacheron Constantin booth at Homo Faber.
LES CABINOTIERS MINUTE REPEATER ULTRATHIN THUNDER GOD AND WIND GOD
Referring to the warm welcome of Japan and Vacheron Constantin’s close ties with this country, the House drew inspiration from Japanese mythology when creating the two Les Cabinotiers watches Thunder God and Wind God, presented at Homo Faber.



THE LOUVRE MUSEUM NEXT TO VACHERON CONSTANTIN
The Louvre Museum’s framing and gilding workshop has created a quadriptych inspired by scenes from Japanese mythology, which can be found on two watches produced in a single copy by Maison. Representing a true masterpiece, four elaborately molded oak wooden shields, assembled using keyed joints, were created especially for this occasion.
