Richard Mille RM 57-01 Tourbillon Phoenix and Dragon Jackie Chan

Along with the traditional Richard Mille watches, which are inspired by the idea of racing and are designed from very unusual materials with amazing complications, the brand has also released a more outstanding collection inspired by jewelry and the art of engraving. The Richard Mille RM 57-01 Tourbillon Phoenix and Dragon – Jackie Chan model was presented at the Watch &Wonders exhibition.

The inspiration for the design of RM 57-01 was the classic Asian myths about the supernatural Phoenix bird and the dragon. These legendary rose gold figures, completely carved and engraved by hand, fill the inside of the dial. Special tools were made to add realism to the miniatures.

Speaking of mechanics, the RM 57-01 caliber is equipped with a one-minute tourbillon located at 6 o’clock. The main platinum is covered with black PVD, the titanium bridges are hand-finished, the corners are beveled and polished. The model boasts a 48-hour power reserve thanks to the double main drum spring. The power reserve indicator is indicated by a red line between 10 and 11 o’clock. The mechanism is also protected by a winding stop on the crown to avoid possible spring deformation.

The case has an unusual finish and looks like it is slightly “covered with frost”. The beveled corners of the exterior sides are made exclusively by hand. This 3-piece housing is fixed with 20 standard titanium screws. The Richard Mille RM 57-01 Tourbillon Phoenix and Dragon – Jackie Chan watch is available in a limited number of 15 pieces in an 18-carat rose gold version. The price of the new product is 576,033 euros.
