One show. Three premieres by A. Lange & Söhne at the digital exhibition “Watches and Wonders”

Perhaps the most significant watch exhibition in the world opens its doors from March 30 to April 5.: “Clocks and Wonders” in Geneva. This is our signal to launch three debuts of our manufactory: RICHARD LANGE MINUTE REPEATER, ODYSSEUS made of titanium and elegant GRAND LANGE 1. To make this exclusive event accessible to as many watch connoisseurs as possible, we are implementing an innovative, three-fold approach this year. Meet A. Lange & Söhne and our premieres in Geneva, finally in person again, digitally at the Lange Experience Hub or at one of our events at Lange boutiques around the world. Live broadcasts will be broadcast between our booth at the exhibition and our boutiques, creating the feeling of “being there”. The result is an interconnected experience shared by our friends around the world.

RICHARD LANGE MINUTE REPEATER

A minute repeater is one of the most difficult tasks in watchmaking. The current time is played on request. The RICHARD LANGE MINUTE REPEATER provides an exceptional time format: it emits a low tone every full hour, a double tone every quarter hour, and a high tone every subsequent minute. In addition, the combat mechanism has been enhanced with additional features such as a patented hammer lock and the elimination of pauses. Our most experienced watchmakers carefully customize each of the 50 limited edition watches like a precious musical instrument. Thanks to the newly developed L122.1 manufacturing caliber, a three-part enamel dial and a platinum case waterproof to 2 bar (20 m), this masterpiece is not only an acoustic miracle, but also a celebration for music lovers. 

Casual elegance combined with the highest craftsmanship

ODYSSEUS in titanium

Precision, elegance, superb watchmaking – and at the same time reliability. In the new ODYSSEUS, this is a natural combination. The sporty and elegant watch made of durable titanium is lightweight and offers perfect wrist comfort. At the same time, the ODYSSEUS watch meets the highest aesthetic requirements thanks to its ice-colored dial and unique design, including a large day-of-the-week and date indicator. The ODYSSEUS watch uses an individual L155.1 DATOMATIC caliber. It is usually assembled twice for Lange. It has a newly introduced balance bridge, a balance that beats at a frequency of 28,800 half-vibrations per hour, and a special oscillation system design that makes the mechanism less susceptible to sudden shocks and jolts. In addition, the ODYSSEUS case is waterproof to 12 bar (120 meters). This first titanium watch from A. Lange & Söhne is a versatile watch that will accompany you not only in meetings, but also in training. With ODYSSEUS, released in a limited edition of 250 copies, you can explore new possibilities, but always stay true to yourself.

GRAND LANGE 1

Get to know the modern classics that are now even more versatile: the new GRAND LANGE 1. This 18-carat white or rose gold watch has convincingly precise proportions: its diameter is 41 millimeters and its height is only 8.2 millimeters. . Despite the compact case, the watch’s feats are hidden under the dial. The time-tested L095.1 hand-wound calibre consists of 397 parts, carefully machined by hand. As usual for the Lange, it is assembled twice and with one winding drum provides a maximum power reserve of 72 hours. But there are many additional assets that complement the internal values. The asymmetrical design of the dial with an enlarged Lange date attracts attention with a particularly plastic and balanced effect. Thanks to the reduced body height, the GRAND LANGE 1 is an elegant companion that fits comfortably on the wrist and under the cuff. This watch exudes restraint and reflects the personality of its owner.
