Actually, the very name “JPS” contains the initials of the Lotus team sponsor John Player Special, whose pilots performed in the form of black and gold colors. The 44mm case of the De Bethune DB28GS “JPS” model is made of ultra-tempered steel, titanium and zirconium. The bezel and ears are made of ultra–tempered steel with black DLC coating. The gold inserts are made of blued titanium.
