Hublot Classic Fusion Tourbillon Orlinski Yellow Magic and Sky Blue

Eight years ago, Hublot began collaborating with the popular French artist Richard Orlinsky. According to Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, the watches created by Orlinsky are “instantly snapped up by art and watch collectors.” The new watches, despite their boldness and brightness, are among the most aesthetically appealing in the Hublot Classic Fusion Tourbillon Orlinski collection.

Commenting on the Hublot watch bearing his name, Orlinsky said: “By giving me carte blanche, Hublot has allowed me to open up new creative horizons. I had the freedom to push Classic Fusion to the limit of its potential. Smooth but dynamic, like the edges of a ceramic case, it embodies a certain animalism, the spirit of “Born Wild”, which is a constant theme running through all my work. I first imagined this design in 2004. That was 20 years ago. Today I am very proud to be working with Hublot.”

The integration of colored ceramics enhances the visual connection with Orlinsky’s distinctive works, known for their bold, monochrome drawings. They bring an exciting element to the Classic Fusion Tourbillon Orlinski series, as the Yellow Magic and Sky Blue versions of these watches showcase their most distinctive feature – the unique geometry of the case, decorated with numerous facets and angles inspired by the works of the famous artist. The watch looks visually attractive on the wrist: its diameter is 45 mm and its thickness is 10.6 mm.

The Yellow Magic version features a matching yellow ceramic bezel designed by Orlinsky, decorated with six black-coated titanium H-shaped screws, a black-coated crown and skeletonized bridges with black PVD coating, which house the HUB6021 manual winding mechanism. The subtleties of the Caliber are visible thanks to the delicate dial and the transparent back cover. There are yellow hour indexes on the dial, created according to the artist’s drawings, as well as a black ring with yellow minute markers that allow you to read the time using the hour and minute hands. relatively easy. At 8 o’clock, there is a 5–day power reserve indicator with a yellow scale and arrow, and at 6 o’clock, the heart of this watch, the tourbillon, is a charming display harmoniously balanced by a visible drum at 12 o’clock.

Classic Fusion Tourbillon Orlinski Yellow Magic is complemented by a smooth yellow rubber strap, reminiscent of other Hublot Classic Fusion models. This conscious choice subtly balances the overall aesthetic inspired by Orlinsky. The rubber strap is secured with a folding clasp made of black ceramic and black stainless steel, providing comfort and impeccable visual integration.

The Classic Fusion Tourbillon Orlinski sky-blue version exudes an elegant, lighter aesthetic characterized by the absence of pronounced black elements. The bridges of the mechanism are covered with silver rhodium, and the screws, crown, indexes, and hour and minute hands shine with metal. Despite the same delicate design and the same mechanism as the yellow counterpart, this edition looks noticeably more transparent. The smooth, sky-blue rubber strap gives the watch a different, less aggressive look compared to the Yellow Magic version.

The Hublot Classic Fusion Tourbillon Orlinski Yellow Magic and Sky Blue versions will be released in a limited edition of 30 copies each.
