Piaget Polo Date – 150th anniversary edition
For watches and Wonders In 2024, Maison Piaget once again bridges the gap between the past and the present. For this year’s exhibition, they struck the perfect chord between the vibrant gadrons of the historic Piaget Polo and the laid-back chic-chic charm of the iconic Piaget Polo Date.
The charming duo
To fully understand the impact of Piaget Polo watches on the history of the Maison and the wider watchmaking world, you need to go back to the key year of 1979, when everything was turned upside down. When the era of sports chic was in full swing, at a time when integrated steel bracelets reigned supreme, Yves Piaget made a bet by releasing a versatile watch that was both refined and timeless, which embodied the core values of Maison. This will take the form of a limited edition 42mm and 36mm, both made of steel with a stylish rubber strap – the former for 36mm. Each version will be released in a series of 300 rare pieces.
Piaget Polo Date – 42 mm
Modern hands of Superluminova dauphine. Production of the 1110P self-winding mechanical movement with traditional Piaget finish. 42 mm – folding clasp.
