GRADE 5 TITANIUM BOARD AND BRIDGES

Microblasting Grade 5 titanium with electroplasma treatment gives the base plate and bridges greater rigidity, as well as the perfect surface smoothness necessary for the perfect functioning of the gear train. The bridges, also made of Grade 5 titanium, received micro-jet and electroplasma treatment. The skeletonized board and bridges have been subjected to rigorous and intensive testing to ensure optimal load resistance.

VARIABLE GEOMETRY ROTOR

The RM 07-01 rotor has a variable geometry to optimize movement during winding.

Characteristics of the rotor:

– Weighted outer edge and ring with weighted edge in 5N rose gold.

– Heavy metal weight segment

– OneWay® automatic winding system with ball bearings

– Winding in two directions

This variable inertia rotor is used in the CRMA2 caliber, as it allows you to adapt the winding to the level of physical activity of the watch owner. The setting is changed by adjusting 2 weights, which can be moved to the correct position and fixed in place using slotted screws.

HOUSING

The design and execution of the watch demonstrate a unified approach to the concept of movement, case and dial. As a result, the watch is designed according to very strict requirements in perfect harmony.

The bezel and back cover are made of TPT® carbon fiber, an exclusive material with a unique look of Damascus steel. The correct stripes are visible on its beautiful surface, as Carbon TPT® consists of several layers of parallel filaments obtained by separating carbon fibers. These layers, no more than 30 microns thick, are impregnated with polymer, and then woven on a special machine that changes the weft direction by 45° between the layers. After heating to 120°C at a pressure of 6 bar, Carbon TPT® is ready for machining on a CNC machine at the Richard Mille factory. Carbon TPT® protects against destructive stresses by 25% and microcracks by 200% better than other most advanced types of carbon materials.

The three-piece case is waterproof up to 50 meters, which is provided by two annular nitrile seals. The case is assembled using 12 Grade 5 titanium slotted screws and 316L stainless steel wear-resistant washers.
