The complete calendar Vacheron Constantin Traditionelle Complete Calendar is one of the very few examples of the complexity created by manufacturers of fine watchmaking these days, so rare that it is a kind of proprietary complication for them. The full calendar shows the day of the week, month and date, as well as the moon phase.

The latest version of the Traditionelle Complete Calendar is a version with an openwork dial called the Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Complete Calendar Open Face. Complete Calendar Open Face is a version of the Traditionelle Complete Calendar with an open dial that allows you to see the entire disk with the phases of the moon, as well as the disks for indicating the day and month. Also visible are the jumpers (straight polished steel springs that hold the various discs in place until they move on to the next day, date, and month).

The 2460 QCL/2 automatic Vacheron movement is a slightly different version of the 2460 QCL, which is included in the standard Traditionelle Complete Calendar Open Face kit. The main difference between the 2460 QCL and the 2460 QCL/2 is that the latter has an anthracite plate and bridge finish.

In all other respects, both mechanisms are almost identical, although there are other small differences: in the 2460 QCL, the central bridge is covered with rhodium and trimmed with Geneva stripes, while in the 2460 QCL/2 it is granular, with an anthracite coating. Under the 2460 QCL dial, you can see buttons extending beyond the circumference of the mechanism to adjust each of the indicators. Since this is a full calendar, rather than an annual or perpetual calendar, the owner will need to adjust the date and month at the end of any month with less than 31 days, that is, five times a year.
