Breguet presents a watch on a stainless steel bracelet in the Type XX collection

After launching a new generation of Type XXpilot watches in 2023, Breguet is introducing a new stainless steel bracelet designed specifically for this collection. This three-link bracelet mainly features a satin finish perfectly balanced by polished surfaces to accentuate its smooth lines. The bracelet is attached to the wrist with a triple folding clasp with safety buttons.

Thus, Breguet provides even more options for its iconic chronographs, which were originally presented with a calfskin strap along with an optional black NATO strap.

The bracelet is well integrated with the case, creating a harmonious whole, perfectly made, comfortable on the wrist and light enough. The Type XX watch is available in two versions, both enclosed in a 42 x 14.1 mm stainless steel case and equipped with an innovative chronograph movement with a column wheel and self-winding with a frequency of 5 Hz (36,000 half-vibrations per hour).

The first version is inspired by the military Type 20 Chronographe 2057 supplied to the French Air Force between 1955 and 1959. Its name is designated Type 20 in Arabic numerals, unlike all the others, including Aéronautique Navale, whose name was written Type XX in Roman numerals. Its black dial features a mint-green luminescent coating used for Arabic numerals, hands, and a triangle on the bezel.

Type XX Chronographe 2067, the second model in the collection, has a direct lineage from the civilian Type XX models of the 1950s and 1960s, including the notable 1957 edition with the individual number 2988. In this version, the Arabic numerals, arrows, and triangle on the bezel are treated with an ivory luminescent coating. The estimated price of Type 20 Chronographe 2057, ref. 2057ST/92/SW0, and Type XX Chronographe 2067, ref. 2067ST/92/SW0, equipped with a stainless steel bracelet, is 24,500 euros.
