With the Big Bang Unico, the Ice Bang Hublot has taken a radical stance, staying true to the powerful aesthetics of the original model launched in 2006, creating a refined watch with a stunning array of high-tech materials and features that make it a must-have… This model, limited to 100 pieces, will be available exclusively at the e-commerce boutique. hublot.com .

Long-time fans will love the strong lines of this version of the Big Bang Unico Ice Bang 2024, which are so reminiscent of the original model. But it is upon closer inspection that you can fully appreciate the difference: this is really a new vintage!

This watch is a wonderful miniature masterpiece, created in such a way that its numbers and mechanics are superimposed and combined, mixed into a harmonious two-color creation that can be admired through the sapphire crystal with its anti-reflective coating. The matte black dial shows the HUB1280 Manufacture column wheel, an auto-winding chronograph movement with a 72-hour power reserve. A calendar disk of pirouettes under the hour indexes in ballet against the rhythm, with the date shown at 3 o’clock in the seconds counter.

UNICO clockwork

By developing its own automatic chronograph, Hublot wants to make it – like all other products of the brand – the first of its kind, special and unique. The watch case contains an open mechanism with a completely updated design, a double sequentially arranged system and a column wheel on the dial side, as well as a power reserve of 72 hours. The mechanism of 354 parts has been extremely simplified in order to increase reliability and durability.

For this reason, Hublot uses high–tech ceramics in a number of cases and bezels, a heavy-duty zirconium-based material that can only be scratched with a diamond.
