His character combines adrenaline and modern art. “To produce an excellent and curious effect”: this principle, which was followed by Louis Moinet (1848), was our starting point in the development of ASTRONEF. The idea is to push known boundaries, as Louis Moinet did in his time, in particular, by inventing the chronograph in 1816. The ASTRONEF mechanism required more than three years of research. Given its absolutely innovative nature, its development was even considered impossible at various stages of research and was practically discontinued. The fact that ASTRONEF has finally seen the light of day is made possible by the combined efforts of the best watchmakers and engineers. Today, we can safely say that ASTRONEF is one of the most important super watches of the decade.

“How could a mechanism with more than 300 components be integrated into a 40mm case, whose mission is to be even more impressive than its 46mm predecessor?” said Jean-Marie Schaller. This secret dream remained hidden in the depths of our consciousness for two long years. Whether it was the efforts of designer Fabrice Gonet or case maker Bertrand Crevoisier, nothing seemed to work — until the moment the light bulb flashed! The answer came from the original design, combining a strongly convex crystal with a flange separated from the glass recess… MEMORIS SPIRIT promotes us in selected circles of modern uncompromising watchmaking. An heir to the know-how of his ancestors, he combines this experience with a keen stylistic vocabulary.
