Chopard L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25 Straw Marquetry Edition

This model is interesting because the restrained composition of the dial with a bouncing hour window and a central minute hand is built around a marquetry or straw mosaic pattern. The mosaic is based on rye straw from French Burgundy, and the pattern itself is made using a technique known since the 17th century. The watch is presented in a 40-millimeter yellow gold case, inside of which there is a movement with an 8-day power reserve. The issue is limited to a series of 8 copies. The estimated cost of the model is CHF 65,000.

Hermès Arceau Rocabar de rire

This is also a mosaic clock, only here it is even more complicated. The horsehair drawing is combined with engraving and miniature painting. If you press the side button located opposite the crown, the funny horse on the dial will also show you its tongue. The watch is presented in a 41 x 11 mm white gold case. The release is limited to 12 copies. The estimated cost of the model is CHF 159,000.

Louis Vuitton Tambour Bushido Automata

A model with complex animation on the theme “samurai code”. The watch is presented in a rose gold case with a diameter of 46.8 mm. Most of the dial is occupied by a samurai mask wearing a traditional Japanese kabuto helmet.

If you press the massive engraved button, the mask opens the jaws with pearl teeth and reveals the hidden word “Bushido”. In parallel, the overhead element on the helmet will slide aside, showing the current hour, the flower in the left eye socket of the mask will begin to rotate, and the samurai sword will slide along the minute scale on the side, displaying the exact time.

Piaget Altiplano Skeleton High Jewellery Métiers d’Art

The peculiarity of this watch is visible to the naked eye: it is an ultra–thin model, half of which is a skeleton, and the other half is a cloisonne enamel watch. The skeletonized part of the watch, including the bezel, is encrusted with diamonds and sapphires with a total weight of 4 carats. The full-format part has a drawing in a blue-blue palette interspersed with different shades of purple. The model is limited to 8 copies.

Tiffany & Co. Bird on a Flying Tourbillon – Azure Blossom

A watch with a fresh interpretation of Tiffany &Co.’s first floating tourbillon, released last year. There’s a lot mixed up in terms of finishes. These are the notched enamel decorated with lacquered flowers, the diamond-encrusted small dial with hour and minute hands, and the same golden bird sitting down to rest on the tourbillon carriage. The watch is presented in a 39 x 11 mm white gold case. The issue is limited to 10 copies. The estimated cost of the model is CHF 270,000.

Voutilainen 28GML Souyou

The multi–colored canvas on the dial of this model is the result of using a whole series of Japanese decorative techniques. These are urushi lacquer, and a combination of different gold powder in the kinpun technique, and kirigane gold leaf applique and fragments of Turbo marmoratus seashells in combination with New Zealand abalone. From a functional point of view, this is a watch with an indication of the second time zone, packaged in a platinum case with a diameter of 39 mm. The model is made in a single copy. The estimated cost of the watch is CHF 290,000.
