Speedmaster Moonwatch watches with an all-white dial are not very common. There have been some special, commemorative, limited editions with a white dial in the past, but none of them have been available permanently. Even the current collection includes only four steel references, and all of them are black. Omega has introduced several steel versions with an all-white dial. In a way, this is pretty significant news.

When James Bond—Daniel Craig—arrived at the Planet Omega event in New York last November, his choice of watches blew up the internet. The bright white dial caught the eye against the dark gray suit. Moreover, the watch has not yet been announced.
After the teaser, we can say that the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional White Dial model is officially part of the permanent collection and is made of stainless steel.

The stainless steel Speedmaster has a classic asymmetrical case with a diameter of 42 mm, a thickness of 13.2 mm and a length of 47.5 mm. It is equipped with sapphire glasses on both sides and has a water resistance of 50 m. The bezel retains the classic DON style printed on a black anodized aluminum insert.
As for the movement, there are no surprises here either, as these white Speedmaster Moonwatch are equipped with a manufactured 3861 caliber, an evolution of the classic 1861 movement, now equipped with a coaxial trigger and a certified Master Chronometer — antimagnetic, accuracy 0/+5 seconds/day. The bracelet has brushed and polished links and is closed with a relatively compact clasp, which has had an integrated convenient extension for about a year.
The dial retains the stepped profile of the black versions. Although the base is white lacquered and glossy (a first for Moonwatch), the contrast was maintained using black arrows and markers, as well as a small stroke on the model name, the Speedmaster logo is printed in red.

There are several notable differences between these white Speedmaster Moonwatch dials and the classic black versions, the first of which is the overlaid markers instead of the black ones with a phosphor insert. The Omega logo is also blackened and overlaid, and all the secondary arrows are also black — to pay tribute to the contrast of the original model.
While the classic retro-style stainless steel bracelet is the main option offered by Omega, two more versions are also available, including one with a black microperforated leather strap with red and white stitching and another with an antibacterial rubber strap with a moon surface pattern in positive relief on the underside for more comfort. and aesthetics.

Released as part of the permanent collection, the new Omega Speedmaster MoonwatchProfessional with a white dial will be available in boutiques and retail stores. Prices are 9,000 euros for the desktop version and 8,600 euros for the two strap versions.
