The company Parmigiani has released a new product Tonda 1950 Moonbow. Inspired by the moon rainbow, this slim tourbillon features an aventurine dial and an iridescent frame composed of blue, pink, orange, and yellow sapphires, rubies, and amethysts. The case diameter is 40.2 mm.

The Tonda is a classic round Parmigiani case, but the 1950 Moonbow Tonda is a unique visual delight. Aventurine has gained popularity among top-level brands (Hermès Arceau L’Heure De La Lune and Arnold & Son HM Perpetual Moon Aventurine), and Parmigiani has not bypassed this type of material.

The PF517’s slim movement accommodates a soaring 7 o’clock tourbillon. The mechanism itself has a built-in platinum rotor, which contributes to the 3.4mm thickness of the PF517 caliber. Operating at a speed of 21,600 vibrations per hour, it has a power reserve of 48 hours and consists of 207 components.

The Parmigiani Tonda 1950 Moonbow costs $143,900 on a leather strap and $160,600 on a matching gold bracelet.
