Roger Dubuis Excalibur Blacklight Trilogy

Excalibur Blacklight Trilogy – three new models from Roger Dubuis, featuring a special glow. The novelties use the skeletonized Roger Dubuis RD820SQ caliber, consisting of 166 parts. Specially made crystals have been added to the design of the watch. They resemble neon bulbs, but they are not capable of emitting light by themselves.

Roger Dubuis calls it an innovative technology using microstructures made from lab-grown sapphire, identical to the technology used in fine watchmaking.

Sapphire ray tubes look amazing. The details of the mechanism are clearly visible through them. They play the role of bridges in the Caliber. One, the longest beam, passes under the arrows through the circumference of the microrotorator and rests against the flange with the inscription Roger Dubuis at around 12 o’clock.

The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Blacklight models are available in limited editions of 88, 88, and 28 pieces in black, blue, and pink, respectively. The 42 mm diameter case is made of DLC-coated titanium, 18k white gold or 18k rose gold. The retail price of the Roger Dubuis Excalibur Blacklight is 80,000 CHF in black, 95,000 CHF in blue and 100,000 CHF in pink.
