In part, the special aura of the Velvet collection is determined by its original design. Graphic two-level dials, elongated Roman numerals, emblematic fasteners, thanks to which the bracelet is an organic extension of the case with a diameter of 36 m.

This watch uses slightly transformed Roger Dubuis design codes. The average shape of the case between the circle and the barrel and the imposing character of the watch form a bold and stylish look, accentuated by elements of expensive aesthetics.

Behind the exquisite outlines of the case, made of precious materials, lies a true masterpiece of micromechanics. In an effort to ensure maximum reliability, Roger Dubuis designers have used the latest generation RD 821 automatic caliber in this collection. This movement with a frequency of 28,800 half-vibrations per hour (4 Hz), decorated with a Côte de Genève pattern, is manufactured within the walls of the company in accordance with the strictest watch canons. It has 172 parts and has a power reserve of 48 hours.

The logical continuation of such a demanding approach of the Roger Dubuis Manufacture to quality was the appeal to one of the most famous independent organizations for the control of watches and mechanisms. The result is that all models of the Velvet collection, without exception, are marked with the prestigious Geneva brand. The Velvet line, a pure example of luxury aesthetics, is a combination of mysticism and elegance. A union of fine watchmaking and fine jewelry, materialized in an emblematic model with a striking character.

The ideal in both watchmaking and jewelry terms: the Velvet watch in white gold with diamonds is a dedication to the craftsmanship of Roger Dubuis. This alloy of mechanics and high precision is decorated with 304 diamonds (invisible pinning), the total carat weight of which is 13.61 carats. The case of the watch is decorated with 138 baguette-cut diamonds (7.5 carats) of 24 different sizes, while the dial shows a “pavé” of 136 diamonds of 50 different sizes (5.2 carats), harmoniously continuing the finish of the case. A stylish addition to the precious finish are two cushion-cut diamonds (about 0.4 carats), which accentuate the bracelet’s fastenings.

The final touch to the composition is a folding clasp decorated with 30 diamonds (0.91 carats). The femininity, the shining “outfit” and the aesthetics of luxury clearly indicate that this watch gem originated from the world of Diva.
