In the constant pursuit of excellence, Rolex is constantly updating the aesthetics and technical solutions for its emblematic watches, inviting them to expand the field of possibilities and set themselves more and more complex tasks. And every time — with the same guarantee of excellent quality, possible thanks to our own manufactory and integrated watchmaking.

A unique version of the GMT‑Master II watch with a crown on the left and a two-tone bezel made of green and black ceramic.

The new version of the model refers to the GMT‑Master watch, created in 1955 and closely related to the development of commercial aviation. The crown is on the left here, the date window has been moved to the 9 o’clock mark. Because of this, it was necessary to make changes to the protocol for measuring the accuracy of the watch during the final quality control. The Cerachrom bezel disc is painted in green and black, an original combination for this particular model with a crown on the left. The graduated 24‑hour scale on the bezel allows you to read the time of two time zones thanks to the green 24‑hour hand with a triangle at the end. The Chromalight display with optimized luminescent material and the new anti-reflective glass make it possible to read readings better in all circumstances. The new version of the Oyster Perpetual GMT‑Master II watch is equipped with a 3285 caliber, which was first used in this range in 2018. This reliable and durable movement represents the quintessence of cutting-edge technology and guarantees exceptionally high watch accuracy. The GMT‑Master II watch with a crown on the left is available with a Jubilee bracelet or an Oyster bracelet.

High-tech ceramics

Rolex is a pioneer in the development of special ceramics that are used to make one-piece bezels and one-piece bezel discs. The scratch-resistant material has a surprisingly rich color that is not affected by time. In addition, due to its chemical composition, this high-tech ceramic is inert and resistant to corrosion. The watch brand has developed exclusive know‑how and mastered avant-garde production methods that allow it to independently produce these ceramic components.

In the new version of the GMT‑Master II watch, the two‑way rotating bezel features a two-tone Cerachrom dial made of green and black ceramic with a graduated 24-hour scale. The notched inscriptions and numbers are covered with the thinnest layer of platinum applied using PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) technology. The notches around the circumference make it easier to manipulate the bezel.

One tool, multiple time zones

The Rolex GMT‑Master watch, originally conceived as an auxiliary navigation tool for professionals who need to navigate around the world, eventually became an iconic travel watch. They are marked by a unique and instantly recognizable Rolex design with a bezel rotating in two directions and a graduated 24‑hour dial on the disc, which is offered in monochrome or two—color versions with various color combinations: where the lower part symbolizes daytime hours, and the upper one – night. The GMT‑Master model was conceived from the very beginning as a true navigation tool and has since been continuously improved in order to meet the highest technical requirements of its time. In 1982, Rolex released a version of the GMT‑Master II watch with a caliber in which the hour hand can be adjusted independently of the minute and 24‑hour hands.

The GMT‑Master II dial with traditional hands of hours, minutes and seconds, a 24‑hour hand with a triangle at the end and a rotating bezel with a graduated 24‑hour scale on the Cerachrom disc displays the time of two time zones at once: for example, local time and reference time or local time and time of any a different time zone. The date indicator is synchronized with the local time display.

Embodying a tribute to the pioneers of aviation, the next‑generation Air-King watch invites you to take control of fate into your own hands.

They are distinguished by an absolutely professional aesthetic, which is emphasized by the reinterpreted case design with straight sides, protrusions to protect the crown and a barely perceptible line of light on the case ring. Inspired by aviation instruments, the watch face, released in 2016, has been updated. Adding a “0” before a “5” on the minute scale gives it a more harmonious appearance and improves the readability of the readings. The hands, along with the triangular hour pointer at 12 o’clock and the numbers 3, 6 and 9, are filled with an optimized luminescent substance. The anti-glare glass increases the clarity of the readings. The new generation Oyster Perpetual Air‑King watch is equipped with a 3230 caliber: a watch movement that, together with its Chronergy movement, represents the quintessence of advanced technology in watchmaking.

This watch is characterized by an absolutely professional aesthetic

The inscription “Air‑King” has been present on the dial since the watch was released in 1958 and is made in an original style, thanks to which the model is easily recognizable. Since 2016, a striking feature of the Air‑King model has been the black dial with large numbers — 3, 6 and 9 — and a distinct minute marking along the edge of the dial, which is convenient for determining the time in flight. The second hand is painted in the signature green color of Rolex.

In the new version of the Yacht‑Master 42 watch, the two‑way rotating bezel is equipped with a Cerachrom disc made of black matte ceramic with a graduated 60-minute scale. The relief markings and figures are molded by casting, and then polished. The minute scale for the first quarter of an hour provides increased accuracy when measuring time intervals. The notches around the circumference make it easier to manipulate the bezel.

The Day‑Date 40 model in the 950 platinum version is offered for the first time with a fluted bezel, also made of the most noble of metals.

This is not just an aesthetic innovation: it took several years of research to adapt the fluting process. Platinum, which has a special radiance and flawless whiteness, is difficult to work with, especially when it comes to finishing. Rolex had to develop an innovative process for corrugating a 950 platinum alloy bezel. Thanks to its unsurpassed expertise, the watch brand was able to adequately respond to the technical challenge and create a bezel with perfectly calibrated and irresistibly shining fluting.

Uniqueness in the understanding of Rolex

The Oyster Perpetual Day‑Date model was created in 1956, and its appearance marked a revolutionary revolution.: It was the first ever wristwatch that showed not only the date on the dial, but also the day of the week without abbreviations in a special arc-shaped window at 12 o’clock, which was a real technical breakthrough for those years. The display of the days of the week is available in 26 languages. Day‑Date watches are made exclusively of precious metals: 18k yellow gold, white gold or Everose gold, or 950 platinum.

Many presidents, executives and leaders from different countries choose Day‑Date watches, which are easily recognizable, first of all, by their characteristic bracelet, bearing the eloquent name President. Due to its high popularity among influential people, the Day‑Date model has received the unofficial name “Watch for Presidents.”

Thanks to its unsurpassed expertise, the watch brand was able to adequately respond to the technical challenge and create a bezel with perfectly calibrated and irresistibly shining fluting.

Exquisite color scheme. Charming shimmers. The feeling of eternal spring on your wrist.

The dials of the new versions of the Datejust 31 have concentrated energy and cheerfulness, highlighted by three types of floral motif finishes: sunny iridescence, matte finish and graining. Rolex’s masterful approach to the design of the dials is reflected in these sophisticated motifs, executed using high-tech finishing techniques. The texture of the dial is accentuated by 24 diamonds of various diameters, which fill each flower with radiance. The Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31 watch is available in three versions: in the white Rolesor style — a combination of Oystersteel steel and white gold — with a blue azzurro dial with a floral motif, a fluted bezel and an Oyster bracelet; in 18‑carat yellow gold with an olive dial with a floral motif, a bezel decorated with 46 diamond-cut diamonds, and the President bracelet; in the Everose Rolesor style — a combination of Oystersteel steel and Everose gold — with a silver dial with a floral motif, a bezel decorated with 46 diamond-cut diamonds, and a Jubilee bracelet.

Timeless style

The Datejust model is a true benchmark for classic Rolex watches, both in terms of design, over which time has no control, and in terms of its technical characteristics. The Datejust watch was created in 1945 and became the first waterproof automatic wrist chronometer with a date indicator at 3 o’clock, which integrated all the major innovative achievements for wristwatches developed by the watch brand at that time. The aesthetic concept of Datejust has stood the test of time and remains one of the most recognizable in the world.

Rolesor, the union of gold and steel

Introduced by Rolex in 1933, the Rolesor style, a combination of gold and Oystersteel steel components, is the hallmark of Rolex watches and the brand’s symbol. This is a combination of two metals in one piece of watchmaking: the first, noble and precious, fascinates with its brilliance and invariably impeccable appearance; the second, known for its resistance to corrosion, ensures the durability and reliability of the watch. These qualities reflect the combination of elegance and perfection inherent in Rolex watches.
The bezel in the new version of the Datejust 31 watch in the white Rolesor style is made of white gold, and the crown, case ring, bracelet and clasp are made of Oystersteel steel. In the new version of Everose Rolesor, the bezel, crown and central links of the bracelet are made of Everose gold, and the case ring and side links of the bracelet are made of Oystersteel steel.
