This first Rolex deep‑sea diving watch in 18K yellow gold is made in blue and features an unusual combination of materials: the gold case is complemented by ceramic or titanium RLX components. This design demonstrates our unique expertise in the selection of materials and colors.

The compression ring is made of blue ceramic: this innovative technical solution is another example of the use of this high-tech material in watches. The Cerachrom ring with a circular satin finish is part of the Ringlock system, an innovative hull design that ensures its resistance to tremendous pressure at extreme depths of up to 3,900 m. The uniformity of the color of the dial, the bezel disc and the compression ring is triumphantly illuminated by the brilliance of 18‑carat yellow gold, from which the Oyster case and bracelet are made.
