Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Infinity by Artisans De Genève

Artisans De Genève custom atelier has presented another personalization of the iconic Rolex Cosmograph Daytona chronograph. The customer of the model was the heir to the dynasty of gemologists, who wanted to combine watchmaking and jewelry. It took 2 years to develop a project called Infinity.

It is based on the Daytona Ref. 116505 model in a rose gold case. The case ring of the model is decorated with 52 hand-inlaid diamonds of categories D and E. The bezel is decorated with 36 colored sapphires. The stones were carefully selected over two years in such a way that the shades of sapphires formed a gradual transition of all the colors of the rainbow from one to another on the bezel.

The watch’s dial is made of transparent sapphire. Dimming in individual areas of the dial creates the visual contrast necessary for good readability. The hour markers and the edging of the chronograph counters are made of rose gold with mirror polishing. The tags are encrusted with sapphires, the colors of which match the colors of the stones in the corresponding area of the bezel.

The sandblasted hands in the center, the chronograph buttons and the rotor are also made of rose gold. The cost of customization services was CHF 116,500.
