In 2019, Girard-Perregaux introduced the Bridges Cosmos model. The central place in this watch was occupied by a tourbillon, which was complemented by 2 rotating globes. The indicators of civil and sidereal time were presented here in such an unusual form. In 2025, the original model was reinterpreted using new materials and improved surface treatment.

The movement in the watch remains the same (caliber GP09320). The changes only affected aesthetics. The novelty is presented in a titanium case 47 x 22.2 mm. There is no crown here. All watch settings (winding, time setting, etc.) are controlled by special rings integrated into the back cover. Each ring is accompanied by a luminescent icon that indicates its function. There is a sapphire crystal on both sides of the watch. The symbolic water resistance is 30 meters.

The dial has retained the appearance of the original Cosmos model, but now has a two-component design. The base in this design is made of Tahitian mother-of-pearl, and on top is a plate of blue aventurine. The tourbillon at 6 o’clock is fixed using a titanium bridge with sandblasting.

Now about the two globes. The globe with the signs of the zodiac, located at the “9 o’clock” mark, makes a complete revolution every 23 hours, 56 minutes and 4 seconds (sidereal day). This is an indicator of sidereal time. Opposite it, at the 3 o’clock mark, there is another globe that rotates once every 24 hours and serves as a day/night indicator. The daytime on the indicator is visible from the side of the dial, evening and night – from the side of the back cover.

The globes are made of titanium, laser-treated for texture, and coated with a blue luminescent compound for readability in the dark. The time is read on the small dial, which is located at the “12 o’clock” mark. It is equipped with overhead white gold hour markers and a set of Dauphine hands treated with a blue Super-LumiNova luminescent coating.
The aforementioned GP09320 caliber was previously used in the production version of the Cosmos model, as well as in a number of other Girard-Perregaux watches like the Infinity model. It is assembled from 368 components, including 52 stones, operates at a balanced frequency of 21600 pcs/hour and provides a 57-hour power reserve. The movement is made in accordance with the standards of high watchmaking: titanium bridges with sandblasting and manual chamfering, platinum with circular grain, mirror-polished screws.

The novelty is offered on a calfskin strap with hand stitching and nubuck trim. The strap is fastened with a triple folding clasp made of titanium. Since we have a unique piece in front of us, which is confirmed by a special engraving, the price of this watch is provided only upon request.
