Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin with copper-colored dials

The limited edition Master Ultra Thin Date and Master Ultra Thin Moon models are a fresh addition to the line of elegant watches with ultra–thin cases.

Jaeger-LeCoultre has introduced two new products from the Master Ultra Thin line. The highlight of the watch is the dial with a grainy texture that gives an amazing play of light. Depending on the lighting, the color of the dial varies from a soft powdery to a rich copper color. The warm background set by these shades stands in stark contrast to the cold polished surfaces of the steel case.

The case dimensions are 39 x 9.3 mm. The composition of the dial is designed in such a way that the watch provides maximum readability of readings. Only the date window (Master Ultra Thin Date) or the moon phases indicator (Master Ultra Thin Moon), combined with the date indicator at 6 o’clock, is inscribed in the perfect symmetry of the dial.

The elongated hour indexes-trapezoids echo the shape of the hands in the “Dauphin” style. The contrasting finish of the different sides of the hands supports the play of light on the dial.

The watches are powered by 899 and 925 calibres, self–winding movements that have been the basis of the Jaeger-LeCoultre catalog for many years. Both movements are equipped with a 70-hour power reserve and are decorated according to all the rules of high watchmaking.

Both models have passed the Jaeger-LeCoultre “1000 hours” series of chronometric tests, which, unlike standard tests, checks not only the quality of the movement, but also the quality of a fully assembled watch.

The watch is equipped with a brown alligator leather strap equipped with a replaceable steel clasp. The models are limited in series of 800 copies. The estimated cost of the Master Ultra Thin Date model is €10,400, while the Master Ultra Thin Moon model is asked for €12,600.
