Panerai Luminor GMT Power Reserve Ceramica PAM01574

The novelty from the Luminor collection has received a black ceramic case and a practical complication for avid travelers.

As part of the international design exhibition Salone del Mobile, which took place in Milan from April 8 to 13, Panerai, as the official timekeeper of the event, presented a novelty from the Luminor collection. A special feature of the novelty is a mechanism with a second time zone function.

The watch received a 44mm black ceramic case with a matte sandblasted finish and polished accents. It is complemented by a blue dial with a “sun rays” finish, which uses a double backlight. The hour indexes and hands on the dial are coated with Super-LumiNova X2 white compound with a green glow, while the power reserve indicator and the tip of the GMT hands are coated with Super-LumiNova with a blue glow.

The P.9012 calibre is responsible for the operation of the watch. The mechanism is wound by a bidirectional rotor and provides a 3-day power reserve due to two winding drums. In addition to indicating the second time zone, it is also equipped with a balance stop function. The balance stops when the crown is pulled out, and in parallel the small second hand resets to the starting position. This function allows you to move the hour hand and date forward and backward.

The watch comes with a blue alligator leather strap. As a more casual option, a rubber strap is included. To replace the strap and buckle without additional tools, the watch has a PAM Click Release system.

The estimated cost of the model is €16,800.
